This Privacy Policy explains how Advervia Advertising Agency (“Advervia,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use the Sukii community directory and membership platform (“Sukii”). We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its rules.
1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to everyone who interacts with Sukii — sellers who register for membership, and buyers or visitors who browse the directory or contact us.
2. Information we collect
- Identity & contact — your full name, email address, and mobile number.
- Business information — registered business name, address, branches, business contacts, Messenger/Facebook links, category, and year started.
- Verification documents — a photo of a government-issued ID, your DTI registration, and (optionally) a Mayor’s permit, used to verify your business.
- Content — product/service details, photos, and any media you submit or that we produce for your listing.
- Membership & payment records — your tier, plan, USID, amounts due/paid, and payment status. We do not collect or store your card or e-wallet credentials — these are handled directly by our payment processor.
- Technical & usage data — basic information such as device/browser type and pages viewed, which may be collected through standard web tools and cookies.
3. How we collect it
We collect information directly from you when you fill in our forms, upload documents, message us, or pay for a membership; and automatically through standard web technologies when you use the site.
4. Why we use it & our legal basis
- To provide the service (create and manage your membership, verify your business, publish your listing) — based on our contract with you.
- To publish your directory listing publicly so buyers can find and contact you — based on your consent given at registration.
- To communicate with you (your USID, payment confirmations, support, and important notices) — contract and legitimate interest.
- To promote your business and the Platform across our website and social channels — based on your membership and consent.
- To comply with the law (records, tax, lawful requests) — legal obligation.
5. Your public listing
By registering, you understand that the business information in your listing (such as business name, location, category, contact links, and product details/photos) is made public so buyers can reach you. Please do not submit personal details you do not want shown publicly.
6. When we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed:
- PayMongo — to process your membership payment securely.
- Google Workspace — we use Google Drive and Google Sheets to store forms, documents, and records.
- Meta / Facebook — for our official page and member-only community groups you choose to join.
- Service providers who help us operate (e.g. email delivery), under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal & safety — where required by law, regulation, or to protect rights and safety.
7. Cookies & analytics
Sukii and its hosting tools may use cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect how the site works.
8. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your membership is active and as needed afterward to meet legal, tax, accounting, and legitimate business requirements. When no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.
9. Security
We apply reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect your data, including access controls and reputable hosting (Google Workspace) and payment (PayMongo) providers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information and to address any incident responsibly.
10. Where your data is processed
Some providers we use (such as Google and PayMongo) may process and store data on servers outside the Philippines. Where this happens, we rely on providers that offer appropriate protection consistent with the Data Privacy Act.
11. Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to correct inaccuracies, to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing, to request erasure or blocking in proper cases, to data portability, and to damages for violations. 12. Children
Sukii is intended for business owners aged 18 and above and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
13. Third-party links
Our pages may link to seller pages or other sites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own; please review their policies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version; material changes will be posted here.
